I think I might find myself cowering much like your recently posted prairie dog! Young ones of most species are usually curious, but also unpredictably so. Talons and beaks-oh my!
I can relate to this... I had a vulture practically land on my head last week. I was facing the other way, heard a rush of wings, turned around and the vulture was landing on the rail behind my head and I had a face full of feathers. :p
